Firenze: [Lorenzo Torrentino], 1550.

219 p.: ill. (diagrams); 23 cm., 4to.

Note: Moreni (Annali della tipogr. fiorentina di Lorenzo Torrentino, Firenze, 1811) states that the "Annotationi" appeared first in the "Sphera volgare novamente tradotta con molte notande additioni di geometria, cosmographia [etc.] avtore m. Mavro Fiorentino Phonasco et Philopanareto" (title quoted from Riccardi); pub. twice in the same year (1537) at Venice by Zanetti and later by Stefano di Sabbio. The latter work contains, however, a paraphrastic translation of the Sphaera with notes, whereas the present work is a continuous commentary upon the Sphaera followed by a literal translation of the same, "Nvova et fedele (ad verbvm) tradvttione della Spera." Literal translation of the same.
